Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Golfhub Malaysia (“Golfhub”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with this website and our services, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. The data we collect

This website does not require accounts and does not set tracking or analytics cookies. We receive personal data in three ways:

• Enquiries you send. The contact and proposal forms compose an email in your own mail client; we receive only what you choose to send. Typically this is your name, organisation, role, email address, phone number and details of your project or question.
• Direct correspondence. Emails, calls and messages you send to our published contact details, and information exchanged during consultations, site surveys and engagements.
• Technical logs. Our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and operational purposes.

2. How we use personal data

We process personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries and arrange consultations, visits and calls
• Prepare site surveys, specifications and investment proposals
• Deliver and support engagements you have contracted us for
• Maintain business records required for accounting and legal compliance
• Protect the security and integrity of our website and systems

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Disclosure

We share personal data only where necessary to deliver an engagement (for example, with an equipment manufacturer processing a warranty claim on your behalf), with professional advisers under confidentiality, or where disclosure is required by law or a regulator. Any party we engage is bound to handle your data consistently with this policy.

4. Retention

Enquiry correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is deleted once the enquiry is closed. Records connected to a delivered engagement are retained for the period required by Malaysian tax, contract and company law, and then deleted.

5. Security

Personal data we hold is limited to business correspondence and project records, stored in access-controlled business systems. We restrict access to the people who need it to serve you.

6. Third-party services

The contact page embeds a Google Map, which is served by Google and subject to Google's own privacy policy; the map loads only when you open that page. Links to external sites are governed by those sites' policies.

7. Your rights under the PDPA

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, withdraw consent to processing, or ask us to stop contacting you. Write to info@golfhub.my and we will respond to your request.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date above.
