Golf lessons for beginners and juniors.

Beginner and junior lessons

Golfhub partners with Malaysian golf professionals to teach beginners: adults picking up a club for the first time, colleagues learning together, and newcomers who want a proper foundation before they buy equipment or play a round. For children aged 3 to 15, Patrick gives one-to-one junior lessons of about an hour, at RM120 a lesson. Lessons are practical and paced to the player, with a coach alongside from the first grip.

Overview

How it works.

A first lesson starts with the basics: grip, stance and posture, then a simple swing that can be repeated. From there the professional builds the short game, chipping and putting, and the etiquette and pace that make a first round enjoyable rather than stressful. The aim is a beginner who can walk onto a course with confidence. Once the swing is repeatable, a club fitting starts to pay off, and we will tell you when you are ready.

Malaysian professionals

Every lesson is taught by a Malaysian golf professional working in partnership with Golfhub.

Juniors from age 3

One-to-one lessons with Patrick for children aged 3 to 15: about an hour each, RM120 a lesson.

A path to the course

From the first grip to a first round, with the short game, rules and etiquette covered along the way.

Community programme

Golfhub4all

Started in June 2024, when the first schools from Putrajaya came to the Golfhub simulator at Menara KBS. The aim is to give everyone the chance to play golf, and to grow the next generation of Malaysian golf stars.

Lessons

Two ways to start.

No experience needed for either. The coach sets the pace to the player, not to a fixed syllabus.

Beginners

With Malaysian professionals

  • For adults picking up a club for the first time, alone or with colleagues.
  • Grip, stance and a repeatable swing, then chipping and putting.
  • Rules, etiquette and pace of play, ready for a first round.
Juniors, ages 3 to 15

One-to-one with Patrick

  • One child, one coach, for about an hour.
  • RM120 a lesson.
  • Paced to the child's age: play and coordination for the youngest, a proper swing and short game as they grow.
